"The Official Feed of the 17-time World Champions." Hell of a way to introduce your franchise on social media. The Celtics, as their quote suggests, are one of the most accomplished and well-known franchises in American professional sports. With a classic green and white look that cannot be confused and a plethora of banners hanging in their lofty rafters, they benefit from having some of the most devoted fans in the NBA. For a twitter account, this presents a grand opportunity for the franchise to repay their fans with engagement. Surprisingly, however, the Celtics' don't seem to be doing a great job. Despite a rough couple of seasons, they are primed to make the playoffs again, generating a lot of excitement. That being said, the likes per post are pretty low, and the feed doesn't seem to resonate with the following. To their credit, they used the account to go around Boston and give away free playoff tickets by posting pictures of iconic places and encouraging fans to be the first to meet them.

Average Score: 2.625
Aesthetics: 2
The cover photo is kind of confusing and overbearing, featuring a literal explosion of green from what appears to be their home stadium. In addition, the feed has many posts of just text, without emojis, pictures, or video. Overall, the account has pretty weak aesthetics.
Useful/Informative Content: 3.5
There are a ton of quotes from coach and player interviews, but perhaps too many. The feed does provide in-game updates and some off-the-court content. They also used the account to give away playoff tickets, which is pretty useful for their fans.
Creativity: 2.5
While the ticket giveaway was creative, not much else about the account is. There is a lack of emoji usage, gifs, funny pictures or posts.
Engagement: 2.5
The account does recognize its fans, but rarely, if ever, retweets or responds directly to them. Additionally, their posts seem to get very little attention, suggesting that their followers aren't very engaged with the account.
